Set along the waterfront in Hood River, our Beer Hall is a relaxed, welcoming space for bringing people together. Join us in the Beer Hall for your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, reception, meeting, or celebration with the Columbia River Gorge as your backdrop.
Our private events combine seasonal food, craft beer, thoughtful hospitality, and an easygoing setting designed to feel distinctly Ferment.

The Beer Hall is our private event space, offering a waterfront setting with plenty of flexibility for everything from cocktail-style receptions to seated dinners and daytime meetings.

Our private event menus are built around seasonal ingredients and Ferment favorites, with options for both reception-style gatherings and buffet-style dinners.
All beverages are charged on consumption at current tasting room pricing. Choose from hosted, budget, or cash bar options.
Food & beverage minimums apply to all private events and vary based on the event date and time.

FAQ
Can I bring outside food?
Yes! Outside food is permitted, but there is no kitchen available for use. Your event is still responsible for meeting its applicable food and beverage minimum.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. Outside beverages, including alcohol, are not permitted.
Can guests use the outdoor space?
Yes. The lawn and deck are shared public areas and are not reservable. Event guests are more than welcome to enjoy the outdoor space with public guests!
Can I tour the Beer Hall before booking?
We do not offer scheduled tour appointments, but you're welcome to stop by during business hours and ask a staff member to show you the space when available.
How does the venue fee work?
The venue fee covers the room rental, staffing, and service wares. It is a standalone fee and is not applied toward food and beverage minimums. Administrative and
gratuity fees do not apply to the venue fee.
Do you offer nonprofit pricing?
Yes! Ask us about nonprofit pricing.
Can I bring decorations for my event?
Of course! We just ask that you avoid candles, glitter, confetti, or anything that may be difficult to clean up. You'll have a 30-minute setup window to decorate the space. Guests are responsible for setting up and taking down their own decorations.
Can you accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions?
Please let us know about any dietary preferences or restrictions when planning your event. We'll do our best to accommodate your guests.
Can I take leftovers home?
Absolutely! If you'd like to take leftovers home, our team will be happy to box them up for you.
Can I purchase beer to go and have it count toward my food & beverage minimum?
Unfortunately, no. We have a limited supply of packaged beer allocated for tasting room sales, so to-go purchases cannot be applied toward your event's food & beverage minimum.
