Brewed with malted barley from Bohemia, revered Saaz hops from Czechia, and naturally soft, pure spring water from the base of Mt. Hood, 12° Pils is a truly authentic Czech-style lager.
To make an exceedingly enjoyable lager we decided on a simple recipe for one of the world’s most enjoyed beer styles. Ferment Helles is made from four simple ingredients: water from a spring at the base of Mount Hood, German pilsner malt, Tettnanger noble hops, and a time-honored European lager yeast strain. Zum Wohl!
The finest European malted barley and a generous addition of toasted rice build the foundation of Ferment Hana Pils. To this, French Strisselspalt, Slovenian Celeia, and German Hüll Melon hops layer on aromas of wildflowers, fruit blossoms, melon and strawberries.
A blend of rich malts from Germany and Rim Rock rye malt from Mecca Grade here in Oregon provide depth of flavor and color in this winter lager offering. Crystal and Hallertau Blanc hops lend an assertive snap, balance, and a beguiling, spicy finish.
A pale mash and unique black sparge technique imparts a gentle acidity along with a clean, delicate roast character in this surprisingly refreshing dark ale.
Almost paradoxically complex, rich flavors and aromas are complimented by a clean, dry finish that makes this ESB a perfect match to a wide range of foods.
Carefully crafted to fully express its curated ingredients from England and PNW, this IPA is biscuity yet fruity with bold notes of peach, tangerine, and red cedar.
Bright West IPA loads Cascade, Chinook, and Mosaic hops into a brew of American two-row pilsner malt. The result is a quite dry, bright golden ale supporting a thick head of foam, rich with pine and citrus aromatics.
Inspired by the brewing traditions of Burton-on-Trent, heirloom malted barley varieties and hops grown in the UK come together to produce an ale that is earthy yet crisp and refreshing.
Woodsman Porter embodies the spirit of Ferment. A blend of five different malts impart a rich, fruity character while wild foraged Doug Fir tips lend earthy evergreen notes.
In a world full of “hype beers” and rock-star hop varieties Crystal Kingdom offers clean, enjoyable hoppiness and simple sensibility. Brewed only with Old World Pilsner Malt from Rahr - a fossil-free product - and the greatly under-hyped Crystal variety of hops Crystal Kingdom is a little sweet, a little earthy, with just the right amount of citrus hoppy zing - a beautiful place to be.
Curiously bold, this deep-golden ale brewed with a punchy blend of Talus, Mosaic, Citra, and Idaho 7 hops on a base of pilsner malt, rolled oats, and German malted wheat can make a welcome goal, naturally cold, waiting at the trailhead for your return. The Sentinel mixed culture saison was first fermented with our own yeast strain isolatd from the wild on Mt. Hood. It then spent the better part of a year in French Oak wine barrels where Brettanomyces was allowed to develop. Finally, a charge of Doug Fir tips handpicked from the forest surrounding Hood River was added to create an ale mildly sour and wildly complex.
Spicy, herbal hops from Europe and complex notes from wild yeast create a depth of subtle nuances of this malt-forward beer.
A clean, rich, fruity and refreshing american sour ale, Guajava Sour is made with Pink Guava and dry hopped with Hüll Melon.

In Doug, our version of the beloved CDA, bold roasted malts and smooth rolled oats are balanced with a distinct, clean hop note derived from a hefty dose of locally grown Sabro and Crystal hops. Brewed with a blend of seven different malt varieties from England and aged for a year in French oak wine barrels, Ferment Barleywine Ale explores deep layers of dried fruit and toffee.
Ferment Imperial Stout was aged in Hood River Distillery, Camp 1805 bourbon, rye whiskey and rum barrels and blended to taste. Dark dried fruit, coffee and caramel is met with oak and delicate whiskey notes in this traditionally rich brew.
